ABOUT ME
After graduation from college, I worked for five years as the staff photographer for a small weekly newspaper in rural New York. I also did freelance work shooting corporate assignments for clients such as IBM, J. Walter Thompson, Orlane Cosmetics, and a variety of public relations firms.
During this period, I was fortunate to have received awards from the National Press Photographers Association and the New York Press Association, mostly for my feature photography. It was a great honor to be recognized by my peers. That said, nothing quite beats having readers tell me that they liked a photograph so much that they cut it out of the newspaper and taped it to their refrigerator.
I later became the publisher of a regional magazine for several years. For the past 14 years I have worked in marketing for technology clients. My area of expertise is sales lead generation.
In 2021, I began to miss journalism and photography and enrolled in the multimedia master’s journalism program at U. Oregon. I graduated in June 2025.
